Dal Makhani: Ingredients: - 1 cup whole black lentils (sabut urad dal) - 1/4 cup kidney beans (rajma) - 3 cups water for pressure cooking - 1 onion, finely chopped - 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste - 2-3 green chilies, slit - 2 tomatoes, pureed - 1 teaspoon red chili powder - 1 teaspoon turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon coriander powder - 1 teaspoon cumin powder - 1 teaspoon garam masala powder - 1/2 cup cream - Salt to taste - 2 tablespoons butter - 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves Instructions: 1. Rinse the lentils and kidney beans well, and soak them in water for at least 8 hours or overnight. 2. Drain the water and rinse the lentils and beans again. 3. Pressure cook the lentils and beans with 3 cups of water and a little salt for about 8-10 whistles or until they are soft and fully cooked. 4.
