Dal Makhani: Ingredients: - 1 cup whole black lentils (sabut urad dal) - 1/4 cup kidney beans (rajma) - 3 cups water for pressure cooking - 1 onion, finely chopped - 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste - 2-3 green chilies, slit - 2 tomatoes, pureed - 1 teaspoon red chili powder - 1 teaspoon turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon coriander powder - 1 teaspoon cumin powder - 1 teaspoon garam masala powder - 1/2 cup cream - Salt to taste - 2 tablespoons butter - 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves Instructions: 1. Rinse the lentils and kidney beans well, and soak them in water for at least 8 hours or overnight. 2. Drain the water and rinse the lentils and beans again. 3. Here's a simple and delicious recipe for rajma masala: Ingredients: 1 cup dried rajma (kidney beans) 1 large onion, chopped 2 large tomatoes, chopped 1 1-inch piece of ginger, grated 3-4 cloves of garlic, minced 1-2 green chilies, chopped 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder 1 teaspoon garam masala 2 tablespoons oil or ghee Salt, to taste Water, as needed Chopped cilantro, for garnish Instructions: Rinse the dried rajma in cold water and soak them in enough water for at least 8 hours or overnight. Pan Fried Paneer Chili: Ingredients: 250g paneer, cut into cubes 1 green bell pepper, sliced 1 red bell pepper, sliced 1 onion, sliced 3-4 garlic cloves, minced 1-inch ginger, grated 2 green chilies, chopped 2 tbsp corn flour 2 tbsp oil Salt to taste 1 tsp black pepper powder 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp tomato ketchup 1 tbsp chili sauce 1 tsp vinegar Spring onions, chopped for garnishing Instructions: In a bowl, add corn flour and paneer cubes. Toss until paneer cubes are coated well. In a pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add paneer cubes and fry until golden brown on all sides. Remove from the pan and keep it aside.
